Dream With Me …
You may know that I spent several years of my childhood growing up in Italy.
My dad was stationed near Verona and my childhood memories include:
- Walks on cobblestoned streets
- Ancient ruins, historic sites with inspiring stories
- Spectacular architecture, storybook houses and cathedral bells chiming in the distance.
Even then I saw through the eyes of an artist and noticed the little things.
For example, I noticed that every restaurant table was a masterpiece of beauty: bouquets of fresh flowers, flickering candles and lily-white tablecloths. Cappuccinos and biscotti were served on fine china.
And we lingered in cafes and restaurants for hours – enjoying conversations as the sun danced behind us on the colorful rooftops of our enchanted village.
And since then every place I’ve visited – from Ireland and Spain, to Denmark and The Netherlands - something comes ALIVE in me when my feet touch European soil.
It’s hard to explain but it’s like waking up from a long slumber. All five of my senses are filled with the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and touch of all things European.
As you can probably tell, I’m dreaming of Europe these days and want to ask you a question:
Will you dream with me?
Will you dream with me about basing in a European city and exploring its sensory-filled wonders?
Will you dream with me about breathing in the aroma of freshly-brewed European coffee, hot-out-of-the-oven breads and pastries, enjoying succulent chocolate, amazing wines and meals so simple and yet so divine?
Will you dream with me about taking day trips to magical places, meandering gardens, majestic museums – and more?
Get the picture?
We are planning to go back to Brussels, October 18 - 25, 2019 and take a small group of art lovers with us for these kinds of experiences and more.
But here’s the deal:
We'll book accommodations when we know how many are coming with us.
Our plan is to book an AirB&B or some kind of charming accommodation.
But most Airb&b's only accommodate a handful. So this trip is first come, first serve.
Once we have a group of dreamers, we'll ask them to pay a deposit to secure theirr place and we'll confirm accommodations.
Possibilities for this tour include: Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam and Brugges – the most charming village I’ve ever visited and often called ‘Venice of the North.’
As we find fellow dreamers, details will come together and we'll be able to tell you more about the trip.

As you let your mind wander about the possibility of joining us on this trip, let your imagination see you sitting here, soaking in the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and touch of all things European.
Then stop dreaming and DO something to make it a reality!
Ground budget includes:
- Accommodations
- All breakfasts and 2-3 evening meals
- Ground transportation
- Transportation between locations
- Most sightseeing, museums and attractions
Does NOT include the following:
- Airfare from US to Europe
- Souvenirs
- All other food (plan about $50/day)
- Travel insurance
- Passport fees
- Additional discretionary sightseeing
