Welcome to Deby Dearman's Fine Art
Deby's story was featured in The Huffington Post
And in Sidepreneur Magazine:
After many years of using my musical artistry and then losing my voice, I discovered I had another gift waiting to be revealed . . .
Painting aged, weathered walls, peeling plaster and cozy cottages nestled on hillsides are life-giving to me. Perhaps it was growing up in Europe and meandering down ancient streets that stirred that love of ‘old’ and ‘beautiful’ mingled together. I love painting houses with history and lots of character . . . imagining their secrets, spilling out stories of long ago.
A love for broken things: a glimmer of light bursting through a crack, treasures revealed in hidden places, fireflies, moonflowers and streams trickling down winding mountain paths . . . these are the elements that keep me coming back to the canvas.
